My name is Ms. Yudkovitch, but in the digital halls of learning, I'm referred to as "Teacher Wendy" (or just Teacher! Teacher!) With over a decade spent guiding learners of all ages, from wide-eyed kindergartners puzzling over the alphabet to adults bravely facing their grammar gremlins, I've become an expert at making learning both effective and engaging. It’s safe to say I’ve untangled more vowel mysteries than I’ve untangled holiday lights—and with far less grumbling!

I hold a Bachelor of Education from McGill University, and a TESOL Diploma (250 hours)—which means I can not only decode the trickiest phonics with students but can also explain mysterious and complex advanced grammatical structures. Both have proven invaluable in supporting students as they develop strong decoding (phonology) and grammar skills. After many rewarding years spent in the glow of a computer screen, I am eager to swap digital sparkle for the lively cheer of real classrooms—and, with any luck, much better lighting (that doesn’t make me look like a friendly ghost, I hope)—as I sprinkle creativity and humor throughout my community.

With that in mind, I am seeking volunteer, tutoring, extra-curricular, and teaching opportunities—including the following:
TUTORING (VOLUNTEER or PAID):
One – on - One
• Reading (Decoding/Phonics): Instruction available for learners from kindergarten through adulthood. Support is provided to enhance reading proficiency at any level.
• Writing: From crafting sentences to composing 1,000-word essays (I’ve survived and supported many a comma crisis!)
TEACHING (Available Winter 2026):
English Language Arts (ELA) or English as a Second Language (ESL), Grades 2 to 6
EXTRA-CURRICULAR (Available Winter 2026/FALL 2026):
• Creative Writing Club: Poetry & Art (Where metaphors and masterpieces meet!)
• Beading: Jewelry Making for Beginners (No experience needed—just a willingness to sparkle!) (Available Fall 2026)
Small groups only (3 to 6 students), ensuring that each participant receives ample individual attention and personalized support.
I would be delighted to contribute my experience, imagination & creativity, and a dash of humor to your school community. Please feel free to contact me for further details or to set up a conversation.

Wishing you a day filled with learning and laughter,
Ms. Wendy Yudkovitch (“Teacher Wendy”)
